Introduction
Dear Hands and Feet Project,
Thank you for providing us with the opportunity for Mission Story to give you a new website! We have enjoyed working with you over the years.
This website proposal is to design a brand new website based on the latest web-design standards on the WordPress Content Management System (CMS) and integrate it with the Beaver Builder page builder & Beaver Builder Theme. This website will be based on the new branding you will provide including the new logos, colors, and fonts to match the new look! This website proposal intends to minimize and simplify the design and content of your current website.
This would be an easy transition because you already have Beaver Builder page builder installed on the website and it will remain on the WordPress CMS - so no learning curve! We will upgrade you to WP Forms Pro, to the Beaver Builder Theme (you currently have an outdated GeneratePress theme), and we will retain ASWM Team Pro plugins (for the team module), and Updraft Plus. We will also keep Google Site Kit with Google Analytics for your analytic reports.
Please read through the proposal carefully and if it sounds good to you, just accept and sign the proposal. Once the proposal is accepted and signed, we can get started!
Your Content
Homepage
Your homepage should always feature a solid call to action attracting new donors. Your homepage will feature vibrant imagery with lots of smiles, sponsor a child information, donation information, latest news, your impact, how you do what you do, where you do it, why it is important, and the invitation to subscribe to your email list.
Navigation
Your proposed navigation will have a top bar and a primary navigation.
Primary navigation will include: About Us, Get Involved, Sponsor a Child, Shop, News and a search button. Your call to action button will be "Give." You should have NO more than 7 links in this bar.
Top bar navigation will include: Login to Sponsor Account, Contact Us, and Social Media links.
About us
We propose a comprehensive about page with everything anyone could need on that page. The about us page will have your mission, vision, team members, projects, story/history, FAQs, and your impact.
Contact page
Your contact page will feature ways to contact you and connect and will be set up with WP Forms which feature comprehensive reports, saved entries, and more.
Call to action
Your call to action will be "Sponsor a Child" or "Give" in the top corner.
Get involved
Your get involved page will included information on sponsoring a child, daycare, or families, taking a mission trip, your projects, interning, requesting a speaker, community ambassadors, church connections, and hosting a fundraiser.
Additional pages
Additional pages include the news/blog page, resources, financials, careers, and policies. If you have anything we missed we can talk it about in the initial meeting.
Reach Management Software Integration
We will upgrade your custom Reach theme to the latest Reach theme (currently Quartz or Ruby 2.3) and code the navigation, headers, titles, footer, colors, fonts and buttons to match the new WordPress website.
Process and Timelines
Process
We will set up an initial meeting with you to walk through how you want the site to look, your expectations, ideas, and needs.
Using everything we have gathered, we will start building your website. Once it is done, we will present it to you and go through the details and finishing touches following the objectives we have originally set. Any corrections or changes you need will be done at this stage.
Timeline
After the initial meeting the work will begin. In general, it takes us between 3 to 6 weeks to get you a first comprehensive look of your new website.
Once the final design is approved then we will launch it on the first Friday after approval and payment of the balance due.
Design and development of your new website and of the Reach platform.
Premium plugins include WP Forms, Beaver Builder Pro, Beaver Builder Theme & Themer, Ultimate Addons for Beaver Builder, WP Forms Pro, WP Mail SMTP, AWSM Team Pro, and Updraft Draft Plus Backups/Restore. The license fee is due every 6 months (semiannually).

Terms
This estimate is not guaranteed as prices named in the estimate is an approximation of the project requirements as described by the client. The actual cost may change after all of the project elements have been negotiated and finalized. The client will be informed of any changes in cost in advance.
This estimate is valid until March 1, 2024.
Payments, Deadlines, and Deliverables
A 50% deposit of the total estimate is required up front to begin the project. The final 50% plus any additional incurred costs is due upon launch of the client-approved website. You can expect a first look of your website no later than 8 weeks (40 business days) after the project start date has commenced. From there, the launch of the final design is dependent on the number of revisions by the client and deadlines will be given at that time. If new photos and copy are expected to be provided by the client and are not provided, that can push back the final date - I will also use information from the current website to fill the new website if nothing new is given.
The plugin license fee is due upon final payment of the website and will be due every 6 months (semiannually).
This quote delivers a full WordPress-based website and does not include the yearly cost of the domain name(s) registration or hosting plan. That cost and upkeep remain with the client.
Changes
Any changes requested by the client to quantities, specifications, schedule, or other aspects of the services described in this estimate are not binding unless accepted by Mission Story, Inc. and the client in writing. Any requested changes may lead to additional charges, which the client agrees to pay when requesting and approving them.
Services
By accepting the terms of this estimate, Mission Story, Inc. will perform the services as described in this document. Any additional work not covered in this estimate will incur additional charges.
Plugins Suite Licenses
The price of $150 every six (6) months (semiannually) includes licenses and automatic updates, and weekly website backups to your own server. The first payment is due with the finally 50% of the website at launch.
To maintain your website and prevent hacking, plugins need to remain supported and updated and your website needs to have backups. We have a developer license so we are able to provide this suite of premium plugins at a discount. Your premium plugins include WP Forms, Beaver Builder Pro, Beaver Builder Theme & Themer, Ultimate Addons for Beaver Builder, WP Forms Pro, WP Mail SMTP, AWSM Team Pro, and Updraft Draft Plus Backups/Restore.
This proposal/quote DOES NOT include any other premium plugins or features which would be an additional charge. This will be communicated for approval in advance at a later date if it is necessary.
Development & Training
We have not included hosting services or monthly maintenance or development. Our current pricing for “as needed” support is a prorated rate of $80/hour (no minimum required).
